Areté — honors program identity and collateral.
An identity system for a flagship honors program designed to live inside a larger institutional brand — distinctive enough to recruit against, coherent enough to sit beside the parent mark without fighting it.
Sub-brands inside universities fail in one of two directions: they either disappear into the parent brand or declare independence from it. Areté was scoped to do neither — carry a distinct tone for a distinct audience, but read as part of the same institution on a shared surface.
